Staff Travel
In our ongoing effort to spend tax dollars in a responsible and purposeful way, conference attendees are encouraged to use the least expensive method of transportation. WALWICA is happy to provide assistance in determining the least expensive method of travel and encourages attendees to identify potential options with other trainees.

WIC staff who are traveling a distance of 50 miles or greater, one way, from their home or clinic (whichever is closest to the conference location) are eligible to stay overnight and receive reimbursement for travel expenses including airfare, ground transportation from the airport, mileage and dinner meals. One reimbursement check will be sent to the local agency. Travel-related receipts, except for mileage and meals, are required (photocopies accepted) for expenses to be reimbursed. Overnight accomodations details will be posted soon.
