Our members share a commitment of excellence
for better nutrition for young children of families with limited
resources. WALWICA was founded in 1987 and is a 501(c)(3) non-profit
organization.
Ensuring that young children of families with
limited resources have opportunities for better nutrition to
improve overall health. We achieve our mission through advocacy,
education and training for those who work on behalf of children
in Washington State.
We imagine communities in which Washington families
have access to health and nutrition resources, eat well, breastfeed
exclusively and get regular physical activity.
